Meet Our Board of Directors

Board of Directors, Board Chair, Co-Founder
Debbi Knox, M.S., LMFT
Debbi has been a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 16 years. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and has extensive experience supervising clinicians, interns and associate clinicians in both private practice and at Central Connecticut State University where she was an adjunct faculty member for 10 years. She lived in the Farmington Valley for over 20 years where she raised her wonderful daughters and attended and served in her local church. It was during these years that she witnessed the disparity of wealth between the city of Hartford and the surrounding communities and became passionate about social justice and equity. This is when she began her dream of starting an organization like Time To Restore to address the social, emotional and spiritual needs of those living in areas with less access to services.
Debbi and her husband moved to Virginia in 2021 to enjoy his retirement. She still sees Connecticut clients via telehealth and some new Virginia clients as well. She sits on the board of directors for Southside Behavioral Health - a Community Service Board for three counties in southern Virginia. She is also the Treasurer for her Local Lions Club. She enjoys kayaking and all things water, walking in the woods with her three dogs, reading, and serving her community. She travels to Connecticut regularly to see friends, work on Time To Restore Initiatives and restore her soul in Connecticut’s beauty.
