Meet Our Clinicians

Kate DeCiccio

LPC

A graduate from Liberty University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, a Nationally Board Certified Counselor, and a Certified Trauma Professional, Kate provides trauma-informed care. This integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, IFS, relational mapping, and somatic interventions and works to help others embrace grief, honor loss, recover from burnout, learn restorative soul care, and relate better with others.  Kate is passionate about guiding others on their journey toward healing, resilience, and peace.

Mary Wilson-Gould

LMFTA

A graduate of Central Connecticut State University's Marriage and Family Therapy Program, Mary has extensive experience in the mental health field and has worked for over ten years with Intimate Partner Violence perpetrators and survivors. Mary also has a passion for working with children and adolescents and their families. She personalizes treatment planning for each child, integrating age-appropriate interventions with evidence-based models. She is also a clinician for our Inner Healing Intensive.

Maria Penedo-Warren

LPCA

A graduate from Liberty University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, Maria believes everyone needs support at different points in life and is deeply passionate about walking alongside clients on their healing journeys. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. As a first-generation immigrant, she brings a personal understanding of the challenges related to immigration, cultural adjustment, language barriers, and family trauma.

 

She specializes in working with sexual abuse and sexual trauma recovery, grief, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, emotional eating, lifestyle changes, stress, and physical activity. Her therapeutic approach integrates Adlerian, trauma-focused, faith-based, couples counseling, strength-based, solution-focused, and Internal Family Systems models, while incorporating the creative process of change. She also offers integrative Biblical counseling upon request.
